I admit to some apprehension before my recent trip to Riviera Nayarit, midway down Mexico's Pacific coast. But from the start, the concerns many of us may feel about travel to Mexico were quickly put to rest, in spectacular fashion. Puerto Vallarta sede del Foro Económico Mundial en el 2012

A partir de las últimas semanas, Puerto Vallarta ha empezado a vivir un ambiente distinto con eventos de gran magnitud que se ha estado llevando a cabo en nuestro destino turístico, en foros como el Centro Internacional de Convenciones (CIC) y diversos hoteles de la ciudad.
Para el próximo año, Vallarta será sede del Foro Económico Mundial (WEF) por sus siglas en inglés, el cual está programado para realizarse durante el mes de abril en el CIC, esperando recibir a mil 500 personas de 150 países, lo que sin duda será una importante derrama económica para Puerto Vallarta, además de representar una importante plataforma para realizar una excelente promoción turística.
Para la realización de este evento será necesario efectuar algunas mejoras en la infraestructura vial del Centro Internacional de Convenciones de Puerto Vallarta, que abarcan desde la señalética hasta la incursión de transporte público (camiones) a esa área.
Pocas semanas después se viene el Tianguis Turístico, así que las mejoras que se hagan para el WEF se aprovecharán al máximo en el evento de turismo más importante de México, en el que se tendrá una presencia de más de dos mil 400 vendedores y compradores de mercado turístico y más de 450 empresas de 20 países.
El secretario de Promoción Económica de Jalisco, Alonso Ulloa Vélez, recordó “hace 10 años se empezaba a soñar en un gran Centro de Convenciones que permitiera que no sólo tuviera turismo de sol y playa, sino que pudiera jalar grandes eventos internacionales y hoy lo vemos, tenemos infraestructura y una industria hotelera de primera calidad”.
También declaró que la promoción de Vallarta como destino turístico de negocios es continua, de manera que ya se ha logrado obtener la sede del WEF y actualmente también está en disputa por albergar la Reunión del G-20 en el 2012.

The couple, who announced earlier this month they will work on their relationship for the sake of their twins, traveled south of the border to celebrate Brooke's birthday and good behavior in rehab, according to TMZ.
When Brooke completes treatment, Charlie wants her to be nearby and is thinking about buying her a home in his neighborhood.
Sheen had previously said of his relationship with Mueller, "Harmony is our goal." Their twin boys, Bob and Max, are now 2-and-a-half.

Puerto Vallarta makes the “Top 10 List” of the best Central and South American Cities

Travel & Leisure, one the most important publications within the tourism sector has released a Top 10 List of favorite travel destinations as chosen by their readers. we are very pleased to announce that Puerto Vallarta made it into the list.

Lady GaGa Taking Surfing Lessons In Puerto Vallarta Mexico

Lady GaGa holidaying in the Mexican resort of Puerto Vallarta with friends and has been hitting the waves on a body-board.
A source told British newspaper The Sun: ‘For a relative beginner she took to surfing really well. She started off quite slowly learning how to body-board and then she was able to work up to standing, she made excellent progress. “She has been very relaxed since she arrived at the resort and is looking to unwind from her punishing timetable on the road.”
GaGa has reportedly been staying at a $6,900-a-night hotel, and paid an extra $394 for the lesson.
